A further option is to fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and take the train from there.
Several TGV express trains run daily from CDG to Pau in about 6.5 hours (change at Bordeaux).
The normal single adult fare is about 87 Euros, but it can be as low as 45 Euros.

An airport bus will take you to Toulouse rail station for about 4 Euros (get your ticket from the bus office BEFORE boarding).
The single adult train fare from Toulouse to Pau is about 26 Euros.
There are "English Spoken" lights above some of the ticket office desks.
(Multilingual machines are also available).
The journey takes 2 to 3 hours (depending on the time of day).
Remember to stamp your ticket in the little yellow validation
machines BEFORE proceeding to the platform!
